Collaborative neurodiversity‑affirming practice

Based in North-West London

What we offer

Occupational therapy from early childhood to adulthood and academic support from age 15 and over

Our approach

At PEOPLES Occupational Therapy we collaborate with neurodivergent children, families, adults, education and work settings to support meaningful participation in everyday life. Together we set goals that reflect what matters to you, using evidence‑informed approaches to build skills, adapt occupations and shape environments that honour individual strengths and needs

PEOPLES is an acronym for what we consider together:

Person

What strengths, interests and skills do you already have? Which areas would you like to develop?

Environment

Which aspects of your home, school, workplace or community support participation, and which create barriers?

Occupation

What everyday activities — or “occupations” — are important to you, whether at home, school, university or work?

Participation

What meaningful activities do you want to take part in, such as socialising, hobbies, sports, community life, or daily routines?

Leisure

What do you enjoy doing for fun, relaxation or wellbeing?

Education / Employment

What supports are needed for learning, studying, working or managing responsibilities across different life stages?

Self‑care

What skills or adaptations support independence in daily living, such as personal care, organisation, meal preparation or managing routines?

Neurodivergent support

At PEOPLES Occupational Therapy we support neurodivergent people across the life-space, whether or not they have a formal diagnosis. Our team has specialist expertise in autism, ADHD and DCD/dyspraxia, and we work in partnership with individuals, families, education and work settings to create environments that celebrate strengths and enable meaningful participation and professional and academic success
