Children and families

Supporting children and young people aged 2 to 25 to take part in the activities that matter most — at home, at school and in their communities. Our approach is participation‑focused: we look at the whole picture: the child, their environment and the meaningful activities they want or need to do.

What We Support

Children come to us when they’re finding it hard to participate in everyday activities, including:

Self‑Care, e.g. Feeding and cutlery use, grooming, toileting, dressing and fastenings.

Leisure & Play e.g. riding a bike or scooter, construction toys, puzzles, fine‑motor play, competitiveness and socialising with peers.

Education e.g. Handwriting, digital skills, paying attention, staying organised and accessing school environments.

What Can Be Behind These Challenges?

We support participation difficulties linked to:

  • Sensory processing differences

  • Motor coordination challenges

  • Executive functioning needs

  • Emotional regulation

  • Low confidence or self‑esteem

  • Challenges with flexible thinking

How We Work

We provide parent and child coaching, both online and face‑to‑face, to help families design solutions that genuinely work for them. Coaching supports children, young people and their families to build confidence, understand strengths and develop strategies that fit naturally into everyday life.

We also offer direct therapy at home and in school, focused on supporting children and young people to develop skills, adapt tasks and shape environments so they are accessible at their current level of ability.

We work closely with educators so that strategies can be carried over and environmental modifications are sustainable and meaningful across settings.
